Washington, D.C. — September 22–23, 2026 — As artificial intelligence, advanced  analytics, autonomous systems, and resilient data architectures continue to reshape  modern defense operations, CDAO Defense & Security 2026 will examine how the defense  community can harness emerging technologies to strengthen mission readiness,  accelerate innovation, and maintain strategic advantage. 

Taking place in Washington, D.C., the two-day conference will focus on the role of data and  AI in enabling faster, more informed decision-making across the battlespace. Discussions  will explore how the Joint Force can build the digital foundations required to connect  sensors, platforms, commanders, and operational systems while addressing challenges  around interoperability, cybersecurity, trust, and the transition of emerging technologies  into mission-ready capabilities.

At a time of intensifying strategic competition, defense organizations are increasingly  focused on moving beyond experimentation and scaling AI-enabled capabilities across  intelligence, operations, cyber, logistics, and autonomous systems.
