Blockchain company MediConnect collaborates with TowerHealth

blockchain partnership mediconnect and towerhealth

MediConnect is a block-chain solution providing company aimed at ensuring sharing and mapping of data across the drug supply network. Lately, the firm has revealed that an online pharmaceutical company, Tower Health joined hands with MediConnect to conclude a proof of concept (POC).

This collaboration will lead to incorporation of MediConnect’s solutions to deliver products via its supply network and avert the ill-use of prescribed medicines.

Tower Heath is an autonomous, rapidly burgeoning, health solutions providing firm established in 1999. It offers unconventional solutions, private prescriptions (both online and via private mails) and NHS. In addition, it supplies thousands of orders on a monthly basis and has an expansive user base of a hundred thousand users. This makes Tower Health a favorable company for MediConnect to test its block-chain solutions.

MediConnect is anticipated as a platform that might be assimilated with Tower Health’s contemporary developments. The process is expected to be instigated by June of 2019. Primarily, a profoundly selected collection of recommended medicines will be discharged.

Both MediConnect and Tower Health companies are involved since the latter’s foundation. Besides online pharmacy UK meds, tower health has also come closer to the Medicines and Health Care Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA).

It has suggested launching a solo collective source to ascertain prospective over-prescription of medicine. The slow pace of process convinced both Tower Health and UK Meds to reconnoiter their own solutions for complications which resulted in the formation of MediConnect.

The recent collaboration between MediConnect and Tower Health is another accelerative stage in this regard as it will help in developing and rolling blockchain solutions. Recently, Patrick Curry OBE- the CEO of the British Business Federation Authority (BBFA) became part of the company as a board advisor.

He has owned a wide-ranging experience of tech solutions organization which helps to build secure partnerships between private corporations, industries, and governments.

In addition to this, MediConnect has recently launched its distinct MEDI Tokens to manage the transfers and transactions on its platform. Once the tokens are available to transact with Tower Heath, the users will be able to enjoy making payments with MEDI tokens at a significantly cheaper amount.
