Bitget is celebrating International Women’s Day through its flagship Blockchain4Her initiative, aligned with its belief in inclusion and gender diversity as critical drivers of blockchain growth. The campaign challenges the industry to confront a fundamental reality anchored around the question, “How can mass adoption be achieved without women?”
According to Bitget, excluding half of the world’s population places a structural limit on liquidity, innovation, and returns. The crypto exchange positions gender inclusion as a commercial and economic imperative and social responsibility for an industry seeking sustainable expansion.
Through its International Women’s Day campaign, Bitget continues to advance Blockchain4Her as part of its long-term commitment to reshaping participation in crypto. The crypto exchange is pushing for a crypto industry that recognizes diversity as a catalyst for broader adoption and strong markets, not just as a constraint.
Bitget’s CEO says women’s representation in crypto is lacking
Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, says there is a big disparity in women’s representation in the crypto space. She adds that the role of bigger players is to recognize the capabilities and influence women have, especially in the financial sector. Chen also observes that there are numerous issues to tackle regarding the representation of women in STEM fields, adding that, as small a step as it may be, each counts.
Bitget is further launching a global social media initiative focused on recognizing and challenging unconscious bias in Web3 to mark International Women’s Day. The campaign video explores how women are increasingly stepping into spaces historically shaped by men, and how meaningful progress comes when women take ownership of shaping what comes next.
Meanwhile, industry leaders, builders, creators, and users are invited to share their perspectives. They are also invited to share the solid actions they believe can drive more inclusive and accountable structures across Web3.
Bitget launches International Women’s Day Limited Edition Card
Bitget is additionally launching an International Women’s Day Limited Edition Card in partnership with Bitget Wallet. According to the exchange’s team, the card features design elements centered on anti-bias messaging and inclusivity, along with exclusive benefits for users who support gender diversity in the blockchain space.
Bitget Wallet Card users can also spend globally with Mastercard and Visa cards, available in over 50 countries across Europe, LATAM, and APAC. Offline engagement forms a core pillar of the campaign.
Building on the “Lady Forward” introduced in 2025, the exchange will further host a series of interactive events across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, the CIS, and LATAM. The gatherings are designed as safe, open spaces where women can share experiences, build networks, and engage in conversations around leadership, finance, and technology.
According to Bitget, activities will include creative workshops, such as flower arrangement, perfume-making, pottery, and nail art, as well as networking sessions and panel discussions featuring women leaders from both Web2 and Web3. The exchange is hosting a mini-conference, panel discussions, and an Iftar dinner in Southeast Asia, reflecting the campaign’s emphasis on cultural inclusivity and community-driven dialogue.
