Bitcoin Hyper Presale Soars Past $9M as Bitcoin Records $124K All-Time High: Next 100x Crypto?

Bitcoin briefly peaked at a new all-time high of $124,128 on August 14, following a rally in US equities, with the S&P 500 registering its own record for a second consecutive session. Despite a short pullback right after, optimism about more gains for the largest crypto remains sky high.

Bitcoin’s newest rally continues its consistent upward trajectory this year thanks to a perfect alignment of key factors. Easing regulatory developments, expectations about Fed interest-rate cuts, and an executive order allowing crypto into 401(k) accounts have all contributed to BTC’s second ATH in the span of a month.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin Hyper, an innovative Layer-2 solution for Bitcoin, has hit a milestone of its own, raising $9 million in its presale. The timing with the rally in equities and crypto couldn’t be better, which raises the question: is HYPER the next crypto to explode? Let’s investigate.

Bitcoin Soars to New Record as Risk Appetite Builds

Bitcoin’s push to new highs is the result of converging market forces. Expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut in September have made risk assets more appealing, with JP Morgan expecting a 25 basis point cut and Polymarket assigning the figure an 80% probability.

Additionally, US inflation data came in as expected, which strengthens the bets on the FED cutting rates next month and easing financial conditions. Risk-on assets, including cryptocurrencies, benefit the most in such situations, as capital is encouraged to flow from blue-chip equities to more volatile assets.

Institutional demand is also growing. Companies are adding BTC to their balance sheet, with 14 new entities adding the largest cryptocurrency in their treasuries in the past 30 days. The total BTC held by companies has grown by 3.36% within the same period.

Bitcoin ETFs continue to receive strong inflows, with all ETFs holding $154 billion in total net assets. This number could soon increase after US President Donald Trump signed an executive order that allows cryptocurrencies to be held in retirement accounts.

As Bitcoin continues to set new records, investors are looking for solutions that effectively scale the oldest crypto and expand its use cases in the contemporary market. That’s precisely the mission behind Bitcoin Hyper’s Layer-2 network.

Bitcoin Hyper: Reinventing Bitcoin With Speed, Affordability, and Smart Contracts

Bitcoin Hyper is a Layer-2 blockchain solution for Bitcoin, designed to overcome the base layer’s limitations, namely slow transaction speed, high fees, and no smart contract support. To achieve that, Hyper uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to allow for parallel execution at low latency.

While Bitcoin can process seven transactions per second (TPS), the SVM can process 4,000 TPS on average and has a theoretical throughput of up to 60,000 TPS. This is a massive step up for the largest cryptocurrency as it allows users to spend Bitcoin like electronic cash without compromising security.

Using the SVM has another draw: developers trained in Rust and accustomed to Solana tooling can deploy or port applications seamlessly to Bitcoin Hyper. An Electric Capital report revealed that in 2024, Solana attracted over 7,000 new developers, compared to Ethereum’s 1,000, suggesting Bitcoin Hyper has an enormous pool of developers it can attract to its platform.

Hyper’s tech is centered around a Canonical Bridge, a decentralized smart contract that enables cross-chain movement between the L2 and Bitcoin’s base layer. This is a non-custodial on-chain solution that lets users deposit BTC to a dedicated address monitored by the bridge. When the bridge confirms the transaction, it mints new BTC on the Hyper network.

There, users can transact at unprecedented speed, near-zero fees, and access a variety of DeFi use cases. Whenever they want, they initiate a withdrawal, and the bridge releases their BTC back to the sender’s address.

HYPER Token’s Intrinsic Utility and Growing Potential

HYPER is the native utility token of the Bitcoin Hyper network. It’s the only token that can be used to pay transaction fees and execute smart contracts. The token can be staked for passive income, a feature that is already live in the presale, allowing early investors to earn a dynamic yield of 115%.

Token holders also get voting rights in the DAO, along with gated features and exclusive applications. These will include early access to community dApps, and the team also hints at purpose-built applications that could expand HYPER’s use cases.

Experts at 99Bitcoins have named HYPER the best crypto presale because it’s delivering Bitcoin’s first ultra-fast Layer-2 with cheap transactions and a complete ecosystem.

Interested investors can now buy HYPER at a discounted price during its presale using ETH, BNB, SOL, USDT, USDC, and a bank card. This can be done via the Bitcoin Hyper presale site or inside the Best Wallet app.

The Best Wallet app is available for download on iOS and Android, and enables users to access vetted presales at early stages, including Bitcoin Hyper.

Once the presale ends, tokens will become claimable from the presale site and Best Wallet, depending on the investor’s choice.
