Question 1

Accepted Answer

Ottawa is providing C$195 million, but it is a repayable loan through the Strategic Response Fund, not a grant, and it requires significant co-investment from Xanadu.

Question 2

Accepted Answer

The 158,000-square-foot plant will occupy the old Campbell's Soup factory in Etobicoke, Toronto, a building Campbell's left in 2019 that was later restored by QuadReal Property Group.

Question 3

Accepted Answer

CEO Christian Weedbrook said the company has outsourced most of its chip packaging and assembly to firms in other countries, and Inception is meant to move that work in-house, cutting packaging time from as long as three months to about eight hours.
