Question 1

Was hat die Untersuchung tatsächlich ergeben?

Accepted Answer

It found that China's defense establishment is accelerating research into military uses for humanoid robots and planning for their eventual wartime deployment, based on more than 100 procurement notices, patents, academic studies, government records and defense-company materials. No evidence has emerged that an armed humanoid has been deployed with an operational PLA unit.

Question 2

Wann könnten bewaffnete humanoide Roboter das Schlachtfeld erreichen?

Accepted Answer

Researchers behind an August 2025 NUDT paper, along with analysts like ASPI's Malcolm Davis, estimate the technology could be ready in five to 10 years. Experts caution the machines are still energy-intensive and unreliable outside controlled demonstrations.

Question 3

Warum verfügt China über einen Vorteil in der militärischen Robotik?

Accepted Answer

Chinese manufacturers accounted for about 95% of global humanoid shipments in 2025, giving the PLA broad access to the machines. State-owned Norinco has already marketed its Fuxi humanoid for sentry and reconnaissance duties, while the US Army is still running competitions such as xTechHumanoid to catch up.
