The Pi Network community is excitedly gearing toward the launch of the long-anticipated Pi Coin mainnet, which has been in the making for years.
The official Pi Coin is currently not listed on exchanges. However, some platforms have Pi IOU tokens, which are more like placeholders that represent the token.
The good news, however, is that major crypto exchanges including OKX, Bitget, and MEXC have announced plans to support PI trading when the mainnet debuts.
Binance has not officially announced it will list Pi Coin. However, the largest exchange has shown a tendency to list the token on its platform.
On Feb. 17, Binance launched a community vote to determine whether Pi Network’s token, Pi Coin, should be listed on its platform.
About 85% of voters supported that Binance should list the Pi Network token, as of Feb. 18.
Pi coin price (IOU) is currently up at $66.46. But can Pi Coin be sold? At least, not until the mainnet launches on Thursday, which will confirm the actual Pi coin price.
