Ethereum on Xpring is going to be a reality soon. It appears that Ripple‘s Xpring is bringing two of the largest cryptocurrencies in the blockchain market are setting their combine goals in action in the crypto industry.
This link-up is between Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) was disclosed when the investment and open development arm of Ripple, Xpring sponsored the ETH Denver. It is one of the “largest Ethereum hackathon and conferences in the United States” to bridge the gap between XRP and ETH in making the two cryptos interoperable. This seems to be in an effort to create a level plain field to bring Ethereum on Xpring.

Warren Paul Anderson, senior product head at Ripple; explaining why the decision to bring Ethereum on Xpring platform was made, shares that the Ripple’s Xpring was created as a developer platform. The decision was made after observing a need for a platform that will support complex smart contracts for the development of a decentralized finance sector.
As a result, Ripple’s Xpring is sponsoring information technology developers and specialists at the ETH Denver to bridge the gap between the two cryptos on the Interledger (ILP), which is a Ripple platform for the blockchain connectivity. According to Ripple, Xpring is not stopping in its effort to connect with other cryptos, as the firm looks to have more connections in the blockchain industry.
Ripple’s Xpring bridging gap
As part of the partnership effort with other cryptos, Xpring has pledged to assist the Ethereum (ETH) platform to reach its aim of one million developers, which the company believes will benefit others in the blockchain community.
The relationship between the two crypto giants is coming as a surprise to many going by the fact that the two companies seem to be competitors in the crypto industry. The two cryptos are built on blockchain technology but serve different goals.
Ripple is both a company and a coin (XRP) working with banks and financial institutions in terms of money transfers. At the same time, Ethereum (ETH) is also a crypto and a platform for decentralized applications. Ethereum on the Xpring platform would also mean better adaptability for the queen of cryptocurrency.
There is more to be seen in the emerging partnership between the two leading cryptos.
